An Air Force Academy cadet involved in a vehicle accident near Larkspur in mid-June died Sunday morning.
Cadet 3rd Class (sophomore) Steven Olegario was the driver in a single vehicle roll over accident at mile marker 176 on I-25, just north of Larkspur June 18, according to the Colorado State Patrol. There were no passengers.
Olegario was airlifted to Swedish Medical Center in Denver the morning of the accident.
A funeral service is tentatively set for Wednesday in California. Plans for a memorial service at the Academy’s Cadet Chapel are still pending.
