On Tuesday, defense lawyers urged a judge in Eagle to bar from evidence a statement by LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant, that was recorded without his knowledge. But prosecutors say investigators did nothing wrong.
The clash today came in a hearing in Eagle in Bryant's sexual
assault case. The 25-year-old Bryant says he had consensual sex
with the woman. He faces four years to life in prison or 20 years
to life on probation if convicted.
The focus of today's arguments was a 75-minute interview between
investigators and Bryant in his room at the Lodge and Spa at
Cordillera last summer.
