A baby born just before his mother died from a traffic wreck may soon be in the middle of an immigration fight.
The boy was delivered by emergency C-Section on Tuesday just ³hours before his mother died.
Four other people died in the wreck near Fort Morgan.
Immigration officials say the mother, Angelina Jacinto
(ha-SIN'-toe), was in the country illegally.
Both parents were believed to be from Guatemala. The father has
applied for asylum.
The baby is a U-S citizen because he was born on U-S soil.
But if the father is denied asylum, he could be deported and would have to decide whether to take his son with him.
