The biggest concern remains our very cold temperatures... Temperatures will fall through the teens and single digits overnight tonight. Cold conditions persist into Sunday with areas of snow in the afternoon and evening. Head over to the "Weather" tab for more information on totals and timing.
It's been one year since a Pueblo teen was killed in a head-on car crash on Pueblo Boulevard.
His parents still have no clue what caused him to swerve into oncoming traffic that Saturday night.
The Chavez's believe someone or something may have cause him to crash.
They also believe there are witnesses who saw what happened.
One driver remembers seeing a group of people standing near-by shortly after the accident but no one knows who they are or where they are now.
Investigators determined Taustin must have been going more than 100 m.p.h.
But, what doesn't make sense to his family is, Taustin was on the phone with his girlfriend who says he wasn't rushing. Then all of a sudden in the middle of their conversation, the phone went dead.
His parents wonder, did someone else's car push his car into oncoming traffic? Was Taustin trying to avoid something in the road? Or was he speeding to get away from someone?
It is a terror the Chavez family will never get over and will always be consumed by its mystery until it's solved.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Crimestoppers in Pueblo at 542-STOP.
