An Iowa man pleaded guilty Friday to leaving a profane death threat on the answering machine of Kobe Bryant's alleged victim.
Prosecutors say 22 year old John Roche threatened to assault the 19 year old woman with a coat hanger, and then killer her in a message left on her answering maching July 27th. Roche told U.S. District Court Judge Walker Miller he made the calls and understood the consequences.
Roche was charged with making a threatening telephone call across state lines, which carries a sentence of up to five years in
prison and a $250,000 fine.
He will be sentenced June 4th.
