Organizers say the National Western Stock Show is running out of space -- a victim of its own success.
They say a number of events have been pushed to facilities away from the show's north Denver grounds or off the schedule altogether.
Cutting horses won't be seen this year. Team penning was back last week after a year's hiatus. But only one day of events was held at the Denver Coliseum on the stock show grounds. The other three days took place at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
Prequalifying events for the rodeo were also held at the fairgrounds.
Colorado State University will host the stock dog qualifications Friday. Adams County Fairgrounds in Henderson will host collegiate wood judging.
