New Virus

Colorado kids have another viral hurdle to handle this eyar. RSV or respiratory synchtial virus is increasing this year among children.

Sixteen cases have already been reported in northeast Colorado.

Only a lab test can confirm r.s.v. but the symptoms are obvious, inlcuding a low grade fever, thick, white mucus from the nose, and coughing and sneezing.

The best way to prevent r.s.v. from spreading is through a handwashing.
