Just days after President Bush's plan to give legal status to foreign workers, one Colorado lawmaker is fighting back.
Congressman Tom Tancredo, who represents the 6th district, wants to limit public services to illegal immigrants.
Tancredo believes the President's proposal would encourage more immigrants to use the state's public services without being a legal resident.
He's deciding whether or not he'll propose an amendment to the state's constitution which would have to be approved by voters.
If the amendment passes, it could change the way the state offers services such as driver's licenses.
