The 98th National Western Stock Show is underway. Doors opened Saturday morning.
The stock show is considered the largest in the world. Nineteen different breeds of cattle are reportedly showed and marketed there.
Although, other countries are nervous about U.S. beef because of mad cow disease, it didn't seem to affect this year's lineup of stock.
A member of Colorado's Cattlemen's Association says the state's beef industry is in a good position because of our tracking system.
About 15 thousand animals from 40 different states are expected at the 16 day show.
