Colorado Springs Man Arrested for Enticement of a Child
Authorities in Fremont County have arrested yet another man for allegedly using the internet to lure a child for sex. This time the man is from Colorado Springs.

Authorities in Fremont County have arrested yet another man for allegedly using the internet to lure a child for sex. This time the man is from Colorado Springs.

Eric James Vigil, 24 years of age, was arrested by Canon City Police and members of the Fremont County Combined Investigative Response Team on February 8th, 2007.

Charges against Vigil include Sexual Assault on a Child;
Enticement of a Child; Sexual Exploitation of Children and Internet Luring of Children.

Vigil is alleged to have established an online relationship with a 14 year old female for the purpose of having sex. The 14 year old turned out to be an undercover police officer.

Vigil also had a profile on the online social web site MySpace.com. Several of Vigil's friends on the sight were listed at 16 year old females. He also listed on his profile that he would like to become a teacher.

He is being held at the Fremont County Detention Center on a $15,000.00 bond.
