Restaurants in the Mountain region are expected to do record sales in the new year.
The National Restaurant Association predicts sales will reach an all-time high of $23.3 billion in 2004.
That's up 6.1 percent from this year.
The group's Restaurant Industry Forecast also says the Mountain region will outpace eight other U.S. regions in sales growth.
Colorado tops the list of Mountain region states, with $6.5 billion in sales expected next year.
That's a 6.1 percent increase from 2003.
