The former male prostitute whose accusations against New Life Church founder Ted Haggard led to Haggard's dismissal as pastor visited the mega church in Colorado Springs Sunday.

Mike Jones, who has a forthcoming book, says several people shook his hand and told him, "God bless you."

He says he wanted to get some perspective on the church and its members.

Haggard resigned last year as president of the National Association of Evangelicals after Jones alleged Haggard met him for trysts.

Haggard publicly admitted in November to unspecified "sexual immorality" and was fired as pastor of the 14-thousand-member New Life Church.

Associate pastor Rob Brendle says Haggard and his wife have completed a counseling program in Arizona.
