While accumulating snow has ended for Colorado Springs and Pueblo, snow (heavy at times) will continue north and northeast of Colorado Springs. A strong north wind will also create areas of blowing and drifting snow along with reduced visibility in these areas A BLIZZARD WARNING remains in effect through tonight for Northern El Paso County northward to the Denver Metro Area. Travel is NOT advised in this area.

Earthquake hits in SE Colorado
A quake measuring 3.9 hit just after 6 p.m. Sunday night.

An earthquake shook Southeastern Colorado tonight. The epicenter was about 9 miles east of the town of Eads. We're getting reports from 11 News viewers, that they felt it. In fact, some tell 11 News reporter Josh Earl that their houses shook.

The US Geological survey confirms that the time was 6:22 p.m. and that the magnitude was 3.9. Here's more information from the USGS on the exact location.

I felt the earthquake at approximately 7:22 pm CDT in Garden City, Kansas. I knew it couldn't be anything but an earthquake, because it was a feeling like no other. It only lasted about 5 or 6 seconds. Kinda cool!

Felt it 8 miles southwest of Cheyenne Wells. Didn't know what it was till heard news about earthquake, then knew thats what it was. Felt differant then ever felt before.
