I-25 Northbound Back Open At Larkspur After Five-Car Accident
While accumulating snow has ended for Colorado Springs and Pueblo, snow (heavy at times) will continue north and northeast of Colorado Springs. A strong north wind will also create areas of blowing and drifting snow along with reduced visibility in these areas A BLIZZARD WARNING remains in effect through tonight for Northern El Paso County northward to the Denver Metro Area. Travel is NOT advised in this area.

Northbound I-25 is back open at Larkspur after an injury crash involving five cars. The Colorado Department of Transportation is still reporting heavy traffic from Colorado Springs to Denver.

Northbound I-25 is back open at Larkspur after an injury crash involving five cars. The Colorado Department of Transportation is still reporting heavy traffic from Colorado Springs to Denver.

Colorado State patrol says it has been reported as an injury crash, though they have no details on the severity of those injuries.

Bob, if they reduce the speed limit, the fine for going x amount of miles over the speed limit would increase and may hinder idiots from speeding. Do you need an example or can you figure that one out on your own?? Anonymous, people don't do the speed limit and they crawl up peoples bumpers all the time. I agree with boon - high speed rail is the answer - it is in the future by about 10 years - Colorado needs to get with the program on public transportation - but that would put the Repubs on the defensive - need I say more?

No, Anon, people need to go the speed limit, and not follow so closely! I was driving this stretch yesterday and I am surprised there were not more.

Ok, Anon, so the speed limit there is 75MPH, and you say people do around 90MPH, what point would there be to lower a speed limit that people ALREADY are ignoring? Lower it to 55MPH, and peopel still do 90?
