A 17-year-old Crested Butte boy has died after falling on a jump in the terrain park at Copper Mountain yesterday.

Summit County Coroner Joanne Richardson says Asher Crank apparently fell on his head from a height of 30 feet.

He was flown to a hospital in Denver, where he was pronounced dead this morning.

Crank skied competitively for the Crested Butte Academy team.
