President Bush will visit Fort Carson on Monday. Some military families will have a chance to sit down and talk with the President about the war and about their lost loved ones.
The family of Staff Sergeant Daniel Bader is one of them.
He was killed earlier this month when his Chinook helicopter was shot down near the Iraqi town of Fallujah. The Baders feel very honored for the chance to meet with the President. They hope to share their questions and concerns about the ongoing situation in Iraq.
"It's been a tough year for all of us ... not just for my immediate family but for whoever has had a family member go over there and he needs to know how we feel," says Bader's mother Lona.
The President will spend the first part of the day meeting with families before having lunch with soldiers.
He is, then, scheduled to continue on to his ranch in Crawford, Texas.
