A huge prep football decision in court means a Southern Colorado school remains out of the playoffs.
Early Friday evening, an Arapahoe County judge ruled Fountain-Fort Carson High School will not play in this weekend's 3-A semi's.
Last night, Fountain-Fort Carson learned Palisade High School ... the team that beat them last week ... played an ineligible player.
The Colorado High School Activities Association has a rule that if you use an ineligible player, you forfeit the win.
Fountain-Fort Carson filed an injunction to stop Palisade from moving on but the judge's ruling said the CHSAA commissioner Bill Reader was within his rights to allow Palisade to go to the playoffs.
Now, the community of Fountain is upset.
The comissioner didn't comment on the ruling.
However a CHSAA official says Palisade will face some kind of punishment next season.
