Winter Driving Survival

By  |

On Friday, the City of Colorado Springs and MasterDrive teamed up to give us a "refresher" on winter driving. Here are some of their suggestions:

  • Keep a survival kit in your vehicle
  • Make sure your car is in good working order
  • Check the road conditions before travelling
  • Let someone know where you'll be travelling if it's a long distance
  • Wear warm, comfortable clothing
  • Clear snow and ice from all windows, mirrors and lights
  • Allow vehicle to warm up so windows are defrosted
  • Allow extra time to get to your destination
