Snow is expected to develop for our Monday afternoon and overnight hours. Bands of heavier snow are possible..and something we will be monitoring throughout the day today. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for far northern El Paso County where ~4" are possible by Tuesday morning. Also ahead, a High Wind Watch for much of southeast Colorado from 4-11am Tuesday morning as wind gusts could reach up to 60 mph. Police now have a search warrant for a truck found abandoned near Denver International Airport, as they investigate the drive-by shooting that killed Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams.
Police also confirmed that they're interviewing people who were at a nightclub Williams attended just before he died.
Williams was killed and two other passengers wounded when at least 14 shots were fired into the Hummer stretch limousine that had just left a New Year's Eve party in downtown Denver. Williams was struck once in the neck.
Police Detective Virginia Quinones says the 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe recovered Thursday will be "searched and inventoried very thoroughly."
Police are talking to numerous witnesses and potential witnesses. Quinones says the interviews continue to produce information.
