Police are converging this morning on a sport-utility vehicle that officers have been looking for in connection with the shooting of Denver Bronco Darrent Williams.
The abandoned vehicle is parked along a road in the Green Valley Ranch area, south of Denver International Airport.
The license plate on the abandoned Chevrolet Tahoe matches the one that Denver police said yesterday they were seeking.
The sides, back and front of the vehicle appear to have been burned, along with the inside, but the top of the vehicle is white, the original color of the Tahoe police had sought.
Reporters on the scene also say there are footprints in the snow, indicating someone may have run from the vehicle.
Williams was killed in a drive-by shooting early on New Year's Day while riding in a Hummer stretch limousine with friends.
