Hayman Volunteers

This weekend is the first big chance for the public to get involved with the rehabilitation of the Hayman burn area.
About 14 thousand acres have to go through the rehab process.
Most of the reseeding work will be done by the Forest Service and contractors.
But this Saturday has been designated as a Colorado Cares day.
That means, volunteers will be able to give their time to help reseed Pike National Forest.
Officials say volunteers should come prepared, with good, sturdy shoes or boots, long pants and long sleeve shirts.
There's still time to sign up if you want to help.
Just log onto colorado.gov and click on the Colorado Cares 2002 link.
