Suspect in double shooting in Colorado Springs turns himself in to Police. Colorado Springs police are releasing more information about a double-shooting Monday night that left two people in the hospital and a suspect behind bars. I can say with complete clarity that details on these are not always released to the media. Particularly when its questionable if juvenilles were involved or not. KKTV is excellent media, I trust them long before the only newspaper in town.

It would have been nice to inform the public that this happened at 2130 E. Boulder, and not left everyone in the dark when you were reporting that the police had closed off a neighborhood. People living in the area should be made aware, not left wondering where it may have been.

Its on Boulder street between union and Platte. It is no longer blocked off.

they havnt closed it off i live down the street. there are alot of cop cars but not closed off i drove down the street just fine

Hi Jon, maybe this will help you - COLORADO SPRINGS - Two people are battling serious wounds after a double shooting near the Olympic Training Center. Springs Police are searching for a suspect in the neighborhood of St Vrain, near Boulder. Police say it happened Monday evening, on the third floor of the Boulder Heights apartment complex at 2130 E Boulder. Detectives tell us that it started as an argument between three roomates, and quickly escalated. The shooter, identified only as a young white male named "Josh", is still at large. The identities of the victims are not known. One was a male, shot in the face. The other, a woman who was shot in the arm and back. She was upgraded from serious to stable condition just before 10pm. The exact status of the male victim is not known. - got this from krdo, they are the only ones who are up on the info. Thanks a lot kktv for nothing once again!

KKTV why don't you start providing more information in these stories, I mean come on you don't even have pictuers of some of these stories and KRDO13 does, maybe we should quit coming to this site and go to the others since they are more informative! and to you jon if it was your neighborhood im sure you would know about it...wouldnt you? its just another piece of trash part of the city, whats new!
