Starting in January, you'll be able to recycle your unwanted mail in some Colorado post offices.

Representative Mark Udall of Boulder and the U.S. Postal Service
announced today they had agreed to keep pilot mail recycling
programs operating in post offices in Eagle and Summit counties.

They plan to expand the program to other post offices in the
state.

Udall says he hopes it will become a model for a nationwide
program.

He's has drafted legislation requiring all post offices to have
recycling containers but wants to wait and see how well the pilot
program works before introducing it.
