DoD Identifies Ft. Carson Casualty
The Department of Defense says another Ft. Carson soldier has died supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. 36 year old Spc. Gregory J. Missman of Batavia, Ohio, died in Afghanistan.

The Department of Defense says another Ft. Carson soldier has died supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Spc. Gregory J. Missman, 36, of Batavia, Ohio, died July 8 at Bagram, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained elsewhere in Afghanistan, when enemy forces attacked his unit using small arms fire.

He was assigned to the 704th Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.

to the family im so sorry for your lose my husbend was serving with missman in afghanistan i just want to say he was a great soldier he will be in all our prayers and he will be deeply missed
