67 AFA Cadets With Confirmed H1N1 Flu

The Air Force Academy confirms to 11 News that 67 freshmen cadets have been confirmed to have the H1N1 Swine Flu. A total of 121 cadets are in isolation.
A spokes-person for the Academy tells the sick freshman recruits, started showing symptoms on last Monday. Since then, they have been tested, many with confirmed cases and all are being isolated from the rest of the Academy in a dorm on the base.
The number has been growing since last week with 15 confirmed cases on Friday before it jumped to 50 over the weekend and then 67 confirmed cases on Monday.
Test samples were sent to Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
As protocol the Academy has been in touch with the El Paso County Health Department and the Centers For Disease Control.
