Robbery and Stabbing In City Park Leaves Few Clues
Police say when they got there, they found a man with a cut to his neck. The victim said he was near Acacia Park when he was attacked by an unknown man who demanded money.

Around 5 a.m. Thursday morning, Colorado Springs police were called to the 300 block of East Las Vegas Street on a report of a stabbing.

Police say when they got there, they found a man with a cut to his neck. The victim said he was near Acacia Park when he was attacked by an unknown man who demanded money. During the altercation he was cut on the throat.

Police say the victim would not make any further statements and told the officers he did not wish to pursue the matter.

Officers checked the area of Acacia Park for a crime scene and were not able to locate one. The injury to the victim is not life-threatening.
