After snowfall along the I-25 corridor Sunday be on the lookout for slick road conditions tonight and during your Monday morning commute. Some areas picked up several inches of snow through the day and, while additional snowfall is not expected to continue, snow packed and wet roadways will freeze overnight as temperatures drop into the teens. (Breckenridge-AP) -- The Breckenridge ski area may resort to ``blackout days'' to reduce crowding on the slopes. Those with season passes would have to buy a separate ticket on those days.
Blackout days are typically scheduled during peak skier days, such as holidays.
Other proposals to reduce crowding include creating a ``premium day''. Pass-holders could present their ski pass and pay an additional fee to ski.
Breckenridge officials say they want to make sure all skiers have a good experience. The ski area reported a record million and a half skiers last season -- making it the most densely packed resort in the country.
