In the first, the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said an Afghan soldier turned his gun on two service members, killing both. A U.S. military spokesman told CBS that the two service members were American.
In the other, one service member was killed in an insurgent attack in northern Afghanistan. ISAF did not release any further information.
