A Colorado Springs man is building his own high flying adventures.

JD Jackson has spent the last 6 months designing and constructing a plane in his basement, getting all his measurements, he says, through prayer.

Friday he used a massive crane to move the plane from the basement to his garage. The plane will be taken to Steamboat Springs, where an engineer will help with building the engine and completing the project Jackson has been dreaming about.

"The idea behind this plane is, it is a two-seater airplane, high performance, but yet built for the mission field and for back country pilots like fisherman and stuff like that," Jackson tells 11 News.

The plane is being kept under wraps for now but Jackson tells 11 News it's only missing an engine. Once he has that, it will be complete.

Stay with 11 News for more on the upcoming completion of the plane and Jackson's story.

For people who can't believe in God, now can they say they have faith. To have faith you first must believe in God, because everything was created for His purpose, and everything find it's purpose in God. This plane was created by God, Mr. Jackson was just the builder, because he believes and have faith in God that this will end well.

This probably won't be ending well.
