Police are on the lookout for armed robbers they believe hit 2 different businesses over the weekend. Police say At 11:35 PM Saturday night, 2 women walked into Taco Express on South Nevada, but their intention was not to order food.
"They went behind the counter with guns," said a Taco Express employee. "They pointed the guns at one lady's head and said, 'give me the money.' It happened very fast, less than 5 minutes."
An hour later, police say the same robbers hit the Dominos Pizza on North Circle. There, Police say they used the same mode of operation.
"There were 3 unidentified females who jumped the counter and demanded cash," said Sgt. Roy Schiavi with the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Schiavi says the robbers got away with an unspecified amount of money and took off in an unknown direction. He also called the all-women operation unusual. No one was hurt during the robberies.
