A Colorado Springs man was arrested yesterday after an explosive device was found in a storage unit at 2702 East Yampa. Steven Wallace was in a Denver Federal Court this afternoon, charged with manufacturing and posession an unregistered explosive device.

Investigators believe the bomb was going to be used for future bank robberies. They discovered notes, they say Wallace made about 4-Colorado Springs banks, including employee habits and hours of operation.

Investigators say that ammonium nitrate is the main ingredient of the bomb, but it is not the same ammonium nitrate that was stolen from a local quarry over the summer.
