Friday, June 26 has been declared a "Day of Thanks" for military families.

The program, put together by Steve Bigari and Borriello Brothers NY Pizza, will allow military people and their families to have a free "food and fun day" to thank them for their sacrifice and service to America and to Colorado Springs.

"Day of Thanks" is being held Friday, June 26 at Li'l Biggs at Powers and Stetson Hills in Colorado Springs.

The program will run from 10am to 8pm and is open to all military.

"We just wanted to do something special for our military heroes as part of our new partnership celebration so we're giving away free pizza, free drinks, and free play to military folks who come on Friday," said Steve Bigari, creator of Li'l Biggs.

"We're very excited about this special day to thank our military and their families -- and to have the help and volunteers from The Home Front Cares and the USO," said Rob Raia, owner of the Borriello Brothers NY Pizza. "Our military has done so much for us... it's nice to do a little something for them."

Military families must present their Military IDs to enjoy the festivities!
