A Thornton, Colorado woman is the latest person in our state to die from West Nile virus. She is the 43rd person to die from West Nile, this season.
Twenty-Six new cases were also reported today by the State Health Department.
That brings the total number of West Nile virus cases to 2,134, statewide.
On Wednesday, the state health department declared West Nile season over, though they expect more cases to be reported from people infected from early to mid September.
