Police in Monument confirm to KKTV 11 News that an investigation is underway into a possible case of internet child pornography.

Authorities said Wednesday that they acted on a search warrant at a home on the 200 block of Candletree Circle in Monument, west of I-25, near the intersection of Mitchell Ave. and Arnold Ave.

At this point in the investigation, details are still very vague. Police are not releasing information on what they found during their search, however, they have said that no arrests have been made in connection to the investigation.

No suspect information has been released.
