Christine Achenbach and Kellie Kissinger have pleaded not guilty
to the charges.
Achenbach is a former public information officer for the U-S
Penitentiary at Florence. Kissinger is a former unit manager at the
prison.
The two were indicted July 11th on suspicion of having sex with
male inmates. The charges are misdemeanors that carry a maximum
penalty of a year in prison and a 100-thousand dollar fine.
The charges stem from alleged sexual encounters with several
inmates from August 2000 to May 2001.
