The search for bodies in two southern Colorado counties has been suspended despit a confessed killer's claim that he buried dead prostitutes there.
Otero County Undersheriff Ken Kimsey says the search will resume only at the request of Denver-area police.
A search in Costilla (kos-TEE'-yah) County is also on hold.
Thirty-year-old Richard Paul White was arrested last week in connection with the murder of an Aurora man.
During the investigation, he allegedly told police he had killed five prostitutes and buried their bodies around Colorado.
He led police to the bodies of two women buried in the back yard of a Denver home where he used to live with his girlfriend.
So far, searches in southern Colorado have turned up nothing.
