It started as a one-time event three years ago to raise money for the family of fallen officer Jared Jensen.
Now, the Pikes Peak Fallen Officers' Memorial Ride has become an annual event to honor all officers killed in the line of duty.
The Colorado Springs Police Department honored another member of law enforcement on Sunday.
This year's ride was dedicated to El Paso County Deputy Sheriff Hugh Martin. He was killed in the line of duty in 1992.
His brother was in attendance on Sunday and was presented with some special memorabilia.
Nearly 300 motorcyclists participated in Sunday's ride, which was about 125 miles through Black Forest and Perry Park, Colorado.
"It's fantastic. It just goes to show you how much the community supports what we do and we appreciate that from the community," said Dale Lucky, Vice President of the Pikes Peak Fallen Officers' Memorial Ride.
An auction was held at the end of the ride. All proceeds will go to the Colorado Springs Police Protective Association Fund for fallen officer's families.
