A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest after the weekend vandalism of Canon City High School.
Police and bomb-sniffing dogs responded to the school Saturday after a report of vandalism and theft at the school.
Authorities say two separate incidents have involved damage in both a 46-thousand-square-foot addition to the school, and to the "old" school building. The damage included vandalized vending machines, broken office equipment, destroyed computer lab monitors, and stolen two-way radios.
The dogs found NO explosive devices.
School district officials say the class schedule will not be affected, but extra security will be in place until everything is replaced or repaired.
Damage is estimated at 20-thousand dollars.
