After a mild Saturday, temperatures to finish the weekend will be MUCH colder! A system to our west pushes into SE Colorado overnight. Snow showers will be possible by early Sunday morning across the I-25 corridor with a change to rain and snow showers through the afternoon. Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon. Two people were aboard an air tanker that went down fighting a olorado wildfire, and both have beenkilled.
The plane crashed about 45 miles northwest of Denver.
One witness says firefighters gasped when they saw the plane explode in the air.
The crews are fighting a 12-hundred-acre wildfire burning near
Rocky Mountain National Park. It's threatening as many as 300
homes, and it's growing. People have been evacuated from about 120
homes so far.
