The Kiowa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death that happened at a grain elevator in Haswell, Colorado.

A spokesperson at the sheriff's office says 17-year-old Cody Clayton Rigsby was found dead inside the Temple Grain elevator in Haswell Friday night.

At this point his death is being ruled accidental, the sheriff's office says there is no evidence of foul play.

Rigsby was apparently working with another man in the elevator when he fell into a bin full of grain. His co-worker lost sight of him and it took several hours for emergency responders to find Rigsby. He was pronounced dead on scene.

An autopsy is pending. The Kiowa Sheriff's Office says they are still investigating.

To Unknown: I find it odd you should mention "evil", for as I see it "evil" and satan always lurks behind a disguise in order to remain UNKNOWN.

This comment is slander and I am quite suprised your station would post something like this. I expect an apology from the station and a posting from you stating there is absolutly no evidence of such a thing as selling my daughters for sex and drugs. Prowers county department of social services can confirm that neither has ever happened!!! The only evil in the world is the people who gossip and cause heartache such as this. Cody was an incredible young man and would be crushed to know some one would disgrace me or his sisters in such a way. Cody was an amazing man because I raised him to be. I truly hope who ever posted such an outragious statement finds God. I will certainly be praying for you.
