While not as heavy as yesterday, some additional light accumulations over the higher terrain will be possible, including Teller and Northern El Paso Counties. Highs in the 30s and 40s will feel colder when factoring a blustery northwest wind. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
Some Colorado Springs elementary school students are learning an important lesson about how and when to use 911. The students in District 49 got to practice dialing 911 Friday on a giant remote controlled cell phone.
The kids were also given the opportunity to check our the Penrose Saint Francis flight for life helicopter, and American Medical Response ambulance and a fire truck from Falcon.
The lesson was all part of the observance of national 911 day, which is on September 11th.
