Two More West Nile Deaths

The death toll from West Nile virus in Colorado this year has risen to 26.

State health officials say a 77-year-old resident of Larimer County and an 80-year-old Denver woman both died from encephalitis, a complication of the virus.

The deaths were added to the state death toll today. The Larimer County man died on September second and the Denver woman died
earlier this week.

It was the fifth death from West Nile virus for both Larimer County and Denver.
