The search to find a climber missing on Mount McKinley for a week has been scaled back.

Search managers have determined that further air operations are unlikely to find Dr. Gerald Myers, a chiropractor from Centennial, Colorado.

There have been no sightings of Myers for a week. He was last seen climbing alone last Tuesday afternoon.

Officials say although no more aerial flights are anticipated, Denali National Park rangers will continue to look through thousands of high resolution images of the mountain taken during the search effort in hopes of finding a clue to Myers' whereabouts.

Myers began his summit bid from the 14,200-foot camp on May 19.

He was sighted at various elevations along the West Buttress route that day, the highest of which was somewhere between 18,000 and 19,000 feet. He did not return to high camp that night.
