The man accused of dragging a woman to her death will face a preliminary hearing next month on a charge of first-degree murder after deliberation.
Authorities say 36-year-old Jose Luis Rubi-Nava was the man who dragged 49-year-old Luz Maria Franco Fierros behind a car in September.
Rubi-Nava allegedly tied a rope around her neck and pulled her for more than a mile on a rural road.
A coroner says Franco Fierros died of strangulation and blunt force trauma to the head.
The preliminary hearing for Rubi-Nava is set for December 21st.
