Kobe Bryant Case

Attorney Pamela Mackey says that would prevent
publicity that could unfairly influence potential jurors.

Meantime, the defense is opposing a request to place a
photographer inside the courtroom at Bryant's next appearance
December 19th.

Mackey says state court rules prohibit cameras inside a
courtroom in criminal-case pretrial hearings except for
arraignments and advisement hearings.

The December hearing is set for both sides to present arguments
on several issues, including whether the alleged victim's medical
records can be used as evidence.
