A 23-year old woman who disappeared after attending bartending school appearantly staged the whole thing. Colorado Springs Police say Jennifer Bowers had never been abducted like she claimed.
Last Tuesday, investigators say Bowers attended class, but didn't pick up her children afterwards. Police found her purse in the parking lot and were afraid something had happened to her.
Bowers was found Friday night after walking into a convenience store in Illinois. She's now in jail---charged with obstructing justice and making a false police report.
Meantime, there is new information that could help investigators find another missing Colorado Springs woman. Patricia Neely, age 76, was last seen on November 15th.
Several days later, her car was found near Fountain and Union. Over the weekend, items from her purse were found behind the Kohl's store on Executive Circle. Police searched the area, but found no trace of Patricia Neely.
