Tropical Storm Paul is heading away from the west coast of Mexico today, but forecasters warn it could come back as a hurricane within two days.
Early today, Paul was about 460 miles south of the Baja California Peninsula.
It had maximum sustained winds of 50 miles-an-hour.
The storm is expected to skirt the tip of the peninsula and hit mainland Mexico early this week as a hurricane.
Mexico was hit by two Pacific hurricanes last month.
One killed five people.
