Iraq-Fort Carson Soldiers Killed

The Defense Department has identified three Fort Carson-based soldiers killed in Iraq earlier this week when a bomb exploded near their vehicle.

They are Staff Sergeant Ryan Haupt, 24, of Phoenix, Sergeant Norman Taylor the Third, 21, of Blythe, California, and Private First Class Nathan Frigo, 23, of Kokomo, Indiana.

They were assigned to the Third Brigade Combat Team.

They were among nine soldiers and one Marine killed by roadside bombs and enemy fire in Iraq on Tuesday.
