A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Several inches of accumulation will be possible in areas where these bands develop. For more information click the ‘Weather’ tab...
Colorado has a new hot line, 1-877-601-HOPE, to help people going through foreclosure.
State agencies, the Colorado Association of Realtors and J-P Morgan Chase are helping pay for it.
The hot line debuted Wednesday.
The state's Division of Housing reports 14-thousand-205 foreclosures in Colorado through September, up 32 percent from the same period last year.
Experts say low appreciation in home prices, risky creative financing and slower economic growth are all factors in the increasing numbers.
