President Bush says he's still convinced his party will remain in control of Congress, once the votes are counted next month.
Before a reporter could even finish his question about whether the GOP will hold the House and Senate, Bush answered "yes" at a news conference. And he says he knows why.
The president believes the economy is one of the "biggest issues" in the campaign, and he contends it's growing. Bush says Democrats will raise taxes, while his tax cuts are working.
He's also hammering the Democrats on Iraq, saying some of the "loud voices in the party" are urging America to -- in his words -- "cut and run." Bush says that would be a mistake, because Iraq is part of the war on terror.
